I recently stayed at Pan Pacific Singapore hotel at Marina Bay. I was upgraded to the Pacific Club Room and also got access to the Pacific Lounge.

I don’t stay at Pan Pacific much and my last Pan Pacific stay was at Pan Pacific Perth.
Pan Pacific Singapore and Discovery Program
Readers of Patnotebook know that I love the Discovery hotel loyalty programme. That is why I love staying at ParkRoyal Pickering, ParkRoyal on Kitchener Road, ParkRoyal Collection at Marina Bay, ParkRoyal at Beach Road and finally Capitol Kempinski Hotel.
I am a Titanium member in the Discovery Program and they offer a superb early check in and late checkout and upgrades etc. Indeed for this one night stay at Pan Pacific Singapore at Marina Bay, I booked the Deluxe Panoramic Room which comes with a bath tub. They upgraded me to a much better room (and newly renovated room) but it does not come with a bath tub. At my request, they upgraded me to Pacific Club Room and even gave me Club privileges. The club privilege included access to the excellent Pacific Club Lounge.
I arrived at 1:30 pm and was given the room. I was also given a 4pm late checkout the next day easily. Thank you Discovery.
And as a AMEX platinum card holder, I was given $100 credit stay for stays at Pan Pacific hotels too.

Such offers are quite common if you have a AMEX Platinum Card and I strongly recommend you consider to sign up for it.

The Pan Pacific Hotel at Marina Bay
Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore is located at 7 Raffles Boulevard, Marina Square, Singapore 039595. The nearest MRT stations within walking distance to Pan Pacific Singapore are: Promenade Station, Esplanade Station and City Hall Station. For hotel guests, I got free parking at the hotel.
Marina Bay in Singapore is a vibrant and iconic district known for its modern skyline and tourist attractions. Key highlights include:
- Iconic Skyline: Marina Bay boasts a striking skyline with landmarks like Marina Bay Sands and the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay.
- Marina Bay Sands: A luxurious integrated resort featuring a rooftop SkyPark, hotels, shopping, a casino, and a convention center.
- Gardens by the Bay: A futuristic garden with Supertrees, Flower Dome, and Cloud Forest.
- ArtScience Museum: An innovative museum housed in a lotus-shaped building.
- Merlion Park: Home to the famous Merlion statue, offering great views.
- Marina Bay Financial Centre: A prominent business district.
- Cultural and Entertainment: Hosts various events and shows, especially during special occasions.
- Waterfront Promenade: Features scenic walking and cycling paths.
- Dining and Shopping: Offers a wide range of dining options and high-end shopping.
It is still a very beautiful hotel after all these years.

Check in was okay at 1:30pm and I was not directed to check in at the Discovery lounge but that’s fine. The check in staff was great in accommodating my needs.

The balls drop photo again.

Pacific Club Room
My room came in a king size bed and has enough space for a rollaway bed too.

There was a large generous workspace with a Ergonomic Herman Miller desk chair.

I simply love the lounge chair next to the window. I spent a lot of time there.

The bar counter offers coffee and TWG tea and the fridge offers free flow of non alcoholic drinks.

There is a luxurious marble bathroom with premium Hans Grohe fittings and indulgent rain shower. There are separate spaces for shower and for WC.

And of course, the reason why we had this room. A Deep Kaldawei bathtub.

The screen next to the bath tub can be opened up to offer a great view of the room and a view of your partner in the bath tub too 🙂
The View from Pacific Club Room
The view is pretty cool even as I don’t have a balcony for this room.

Night view from the room but of course, this is as good as Fullerton Hotel Marina Bay View Room or Ritz Carlton Club Deluxe Marina.

The Pacific Club Lounge at Pan Pacific Singapore
The Pacific Club Lounge at Pan Pacific Singapore offers a luxurious experience with stunning 360-degree views of Marina Bay, the South China Sea, and the city. It is located at the highest floor of the hotel.

Guests staying in the hotel’s suites and Pacific Club rooms can access the Pacific Club Lounge.
Culinary offerings in the lounge include Champagne breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails with canapés. Pacific Club privileges include a choice between Champagne breakfast at the lounge or buffet breakfast at Edge, daily afternoon tea, and evening cocktails, among others.

The lounge operates from 7:00am to 10:00pm daily, with specific rules regarding children’s access and charges for children between six to 12 years old.
These “dishes” are for Afternoon Tea at 3pm.

What I love about the Pacific Lounge is that there are many seatings all around the lounge, offering great views and at certain times of the day, very quiet too for you to do some work or even serious readings. It is very serene.

There is a dress code for the Pacific Club Lounge, requiring smart and casual attire with covered shoes. I was not aware of that and did not dress appropriately for evening drinks.
Pan Pacific Hotel Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is located at the fourth level (same as the gym) and is near to table tennis and even an outdoor chess set.

Pan Pacific Hotel Gym
The gym is pretty big too.

Conclusion : To stay or not to stay
Pan Pacific at Marina Bay is a pretty hotel and indeed is very family oriented. You can tell as there is a specific children’s playground at the hotel as well as a Urban Jungle Experience play place too.
The service at the Pacific Lounge was excellent. I met many very friendly staff there and they were quick to ensure that my family and I had a great stay.
Of course, a stay at Pan Pacific counts as a night stay at the Discovery Programme which helps me to keep my Titanium status with the Discovery Programme.
