Citadines Science Park Singapore — Studio Queen : What A View

Citadines Science Park sits at an interesting place… Some places you drive past a hundred times and never think twice about. Science Park is one of those for me — that whole stretch off Ayer Rajah where the office blocks sit quietly among the trees, and you only go if you’re visiting someone at work.

Turns out that’s exactly the point. This is not the Marina Bay kind of staycation where you pay for the skyline and the crowds that come with it. It’s the other kind — the one where you check in, the city noise drops away, and you get an afternoon back that you didn’t know you were missing.

And it can be really quiet in the weekends when the whole area shuts down. At least until Lyndenwoods TOP 😉

We took the Studio Queen, and I’ll say upfront that the view sold it. Pulled the curtains open, and instead of the usual concrete-facing-concrete situation, we got greenery and open sky, with the light changing across the room as the afternoon went on. I ended up standing there longer than I want to admit.

Parking at Citadines Science Park Singapore

Citadines Science Park offers you no free parking (except on weekends) but the nice part is that you have a dedicated parking area for guests of Citadines Science Park (just like how Capri by Fraser Dorsett Changi City Singapore offers its guests a dedicated parking area in the busy Changi City car parking area). And no, there is no day stay here too 😊

In fact it is pretty difficult to get a night here sometimes as the hotel serves a lot of long term guests. Do you know its sister hotel nearby, Lyf One-North, don’t even (now as at August 2026) allow for bookings of less than 6 nights in a row !

The Facilities at Citadines Science Park

A swimming pool that looks amazing in the afternoon sun, a small gym and a laundry room.

Citadines Science Park Singapore : Studio Queen Room

You will think that the entry level room, the Studio Queen room, is poor in this hotel. Absolutely not. In fact, I love it so much as it has an amazing view and the washroom is so amazing with its views.

A view of the room when you enter… there’s a cool TV rack.. I have something similar at home

Now for the killer… the toilet… I LOVE IT 🙃

My toilet for this stay faces the One North area as well as the NUH buildings. And the AYE expressway… with the forever busy side road to NUH and One North…

Proximity to Shopping Mall and MRT Station

The Citadines Science Park Singapore is pretty close to the new Geneo Mall (which is a nice mall with lots of food but not much shopping).

And of course, the Kent Ridge MRT station. Which means you can go for a hike easily to Kent Ridge Park too… you can practically see the hotel from the Mall too.. Kent Ridge MRT station to Geneo Mall to Citadines Science Park Singapore is all but a few minutes walk.

Conclusion : To stay or not to stay

I believe a weekend staycation here is pretty good idea (just like one in Lyf One North) to just get away from the hustle and bustle of the city !
