My last stay at a Lyf brand hotel was at Lyf Funan Singapore. It was in fact, a work from hotel (aka day stay) in downtown Singapore. Today I am showcasing Lyf One-North Singapore, which is definitely not downtown but right next to the famous One-North area.

About One-North Area
Where more and more new condo launches are such as Bloomsbury Residences. One-north is a 200-hectare research and development (R&D) business park in Singapore developed by
JTC Corporation that acts as a premier, vibrant hub for innovation. It hosts over 400 leading companies, 800+ start-ups, and key research institutions, specializing in biomedical sciences, infocomm technology, media, and engineering.
Right opposite the hotel is Galaxis mall where you can find lots of food and coffee places such as Starbucks, Huggs Coffee and Luckin etc.
Booking a stay at Lyf One-North Singapore
The web site of the hotel is through ASR (https://www.discoverasr.com/en/lyf/singapore/lyf-one-north-singapore). Be careful as there seemed to be non-official web sites ranking well for this search term.
At the time of writing, it seemed like there is a minimum stay of 2 nights for the hotel. And no, there was no day stay available too. I guess it is a service apartment concept so longer stay are the norm, rather than hotel stays. The stay cost me about SGD278 for two nights (all in including taxes).
But excluding parking…….
Parking at Lyf One-North Singapore
There is no much parking at Lyf One-North Singapore except for about 7-8 lots, right at the door steps. Which makes it super convenient. They all come with a sign, “Reserved Parking. To reserve a lot, kindly approach our front desk“.
And yes you just need to stop your car at the front door, go to the front desk, check in and then ask for a lot. You pay $10.90 (GST included) for a lot. Not a bad deal as parking nearby is not that cheap day time and then it is right at the front of the hotel 🙂

Front Lobby
Checking in at the hotel is pretty easy if you want to use the automated machine (the blue machine in the photo).
Else the lobby has also a check in counter.. And yes, the lobby has the usual slick cool Lyf-famous check in atmosphere.
There are free coffee machines to grab coffee from.
And there is a “help yourself to the toiletries” section aka Japanese business hotel style 🙂
The hotel rooms are split into two towers. Tower A and Tower B. In between the two towers (aka short towers) is a nice amphitheater. Should be pretty cool at night.
There is a gym in the hotel.
And as expected of a service apartment, plenty of washing machines. Very cool design.
At the top of the hotel is the small pool.

The “One of a Kind” Studio Room
Before showing the “One of A Kind” Studio Room at Lyf One-North, I want to say that the hotel did an amazing job with their ASR app. The MOBILE KEY works perfectly. I can’t even say that for many of the so called higher class hotel chain (you know, the Mar, the Hil, the Hy etc). The mobile keys in many of these hotels are hit and miss. This one does not even miss a single beat. Well played, ASR. Well played.

Conclusion of A Stay at Lyf One-North Singapore
This is a nice place for a weekend stay as the area is pretty quiet on weekends. During weekends, you will also get students from NUS area coming over for meals etc. I would say it is a nice simple yet interesting hotel to stay for a night or two while you enjoy the peace and tranquility of the One-North area.
I recommend a short stay.
Now.. if only they have Day Stay too 🙂 🙂 🙂
