A while back, I wrote blog posts on walking from East Coast all the way to Bedok Reservoir Park. Also I wrote about walking from Siglap PCN to Kallang (Blue in Colour), in which the Siglap PCN ended at Kembangan MRT. Today’s post is about “closing the loop” from Bedok Reservoir to Kembangan MRT (Yellow in Colour).
In other words, here’s the loop. Today’s walk is in the one in YELLOW.

Starting the Bedok Reservoir to Kembangan walk
I parked at the Bedok Reservoir car park to start the walk. If you don’t drive, you can take the MRT to the new “Bedok Reservoir” MRT (Downtown Line DT30).
From there, I start walking…
Technically as you walk around the Bedok Reservoir, you are the Siglap PCN.
You are walking opposite the condos such as Baywater Condo.
Or the beautiful Bedok Reservoir
When you see the HDB flats, you are ready to cross the road over to the Bedok Reservoir Park.
Not sure why this is necessary but I am guessing the local “East Coast Plan” people decided they need someone local for East Coast Play Corridor.
As if you need any reminder that this is part of Siglap PCN.
Don’t worry, you can still see the PCN on the pathway when you crossed over to the other side.
You will see this sign as you walked past it. Aljunied GRC !
You will then walk down this path..

But it does show the path we are going to walk 🙂
Walk forward and you should see the PCN again…
You are still on the right track 🙂

Bedok Town Park
Bedok Town Park is a very peaceful park. Many people are doing their morning exercise but it is very relaxing place to hang out.
As you can see Damai Primary School, you can know that you are on the right track
Walking a bit more and you will reach the Bedok North MRT !
Walk past the MRT (no you are not going into the MRT) and you will see a main road. There is a bridge to cross over the main busy road.

You will be going to the Blk 613B
At the foot of the bridge, you can see another PCN map…
You will now be walking in a park that is in parallel to a whole row of HDB flats.. very well painted HDB flats.. you are also walking in parallel to the PIE expressway.
Very nice park !!
Right at the end of this park, you should see this bridge… this is the Bridge to cross the PIE Expressway

From PIE Expressway to Kembangan MRT
Once you crossed the bridge, you will then walk this path to continue your walk. You can then see many private houses on your left. This is the Kembangan private housing estate. You are almost there..
Blk 103 is next to you as you walk..
A sudden turn of the route..

And then out of sudden, what a beautiful place..
What a fantastic open space area…
And our destination is right here… the Kembangan MRT

Total Distance from Bedok Reservoir to Kembangan
The total distance is 5.39km only. No problem 🙂
Getting back to Bedok Reservoir
To get back to your car at Bedok Reservoir, you can either Grab from the MRT or hey… take the MRT !! 🙂
You can take the MRT from Kembangan to Tampines and then from Tampines back to Bedok Reservoir.
At Bedok Reservoir MRT, take exit B 🙂
