When in Fukuoka, you eat ramen. So I had the one at the industrial place of Ganso Naganamya Ramen shop. And I had one at Shin Shin ramen at the touristy Hakata train station.

And of course, I must have one at one of the many Ichiran ramen chain stores. The one I went to is just outside the Tenjin subway station, the Ichiran Tenjin Nishidori.

A map….

Like most ramen shops in Japan, there is a machine in the front where you can order the ramen you wanted.

Even though you ordered and paid for a bowl of ramen at the self service ramen machine at the entrance of the shop, you are going to fill up the form for more details on what exactly you want your ramen to taste like.

You can also order and pay by cash at the booth for any other special orders or side dish. For example, another plate of the excellent pork.

I find eating at the individual booth a nice part of the ramen experience. I mean, this is quite common in Japan but still special as I don’t have this experience anyway in Singapore.

My ramen order unboxing haha hahahah

Talking about unboxing, it is possible to “ta bao” Ichiran mee back home to Singapore. Ha. See…. Maggi Mee…..

So don’t forget to buy some back home to Singapore.
Also near to the ramen shop is the Fukuoka Apple Store and also Nike Store and Adidas Store. Tenjin is a great place to shop…..
