Staying at 9h Nine Hours Narita Airport was a good experience. After I checked in, it was time for dinner. I would not want to eat at the Narita Airport, so we took a quick subway ride to Narita City. We wanted to have some Sushi at Sushi Edokko Narita !

Getting to Narita City from Terminal 2
It is very very convenient to get from Narita Terminal 2 (where 9h Nine Hours are) to Narita city. This is because the exact train from Terminal 2 to the city is right outside the capsule hotel. You can take the Keisen Main Line train to Narita easily.

Just be aware that you are not taking the Keisen Skyliner to the actual Tokyo city ! From the photo above, you can see that Orange 1 to the left is the Skyliner. You will want to take (3) to go to Keisei Narita Station.

Arriving at Keisei Narita Station. Very cute station.

About Narita City
Of course, you know Narita for its airport. Narita is not located in Tokyo, but rather in the neighboring Chiba Prefecture of Japan.
Narita is most famous for hosting Narita International Airport, one of the main international airports serving the Greater Tokyo Area. The city is also known for the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, a large and historically significant Buddhist temple that attracts many visitors. Narita offers a mix of modern and traditional experiences, with its airport area being quite modern, while other parts of the city showcase traditional Japanese culture and architecture.
I would love to visit the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple as it is very pretty even at night. But it was a long day (and night) so we did not do that. Would love to do that one day.
Walking from Keisei Narita Station to Sushi Edokko Narita
It is a pretty short walk (about 5-10 mins) from the Station to Sushi Edokko Narita.

From the station, you can see this road and just walk down, cross a bridge and you are there..

Arriving at Sushi Edokko Narita. If you are coming from Keisei Narita Station, then the restaurant is on the right side of the road you are walking down from. It is really close to an open air small car park too.

If you are lucky, there is no queue. We were lucky π
Eating at Sushi Edokko Narita
You know you are going to enjoy your mea at a Japanese sushi restaurant where there is a sushi bar in front of the sushi masters π

Checking out the menu.. you can order individual sushi plates

Or a set of sushi selections.. for example, I ordered the Matsu set…

Here it is in real life π

And other fantastic food we ordered..

The salmon is so fresh and thick…

We enjoyed our meal a lot especially after a long journey from Singapore !
Going back to Narita Airport
Back at Keisei Narita Station, no worries. There are clear signs how to get to the different terminals of Narita Airport. You will catch the train at Platform 5. There are drinks vending machines and a very nice bakery at this platform.

And yes, you can use your Suica IC Card on your mobile phone for all these travels to Narita Airport to Narita Station !
Conclusion : To Eat at Sushi Edokko Narita Or Not
Go if you have time at Narita Airport. For example a layover or a couple of hours before checking in. Sometimes it is more fun to visit such areas than just good old Tokyo.
The food at Sushi Edokko Narita is just so gooooood !!
Narita City is a very authentic area and I would love for time to check it out more and also visit the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple !
