As I mentioned in the article, The Saphir ODORIKO : Luxury Travel to Izu, we were going to Izu. We specifically was visiting two places at Izu area. The first place is our night stay at Inatori GINSUISO Izu, a beautiful onset resort ! The hotel reminds me of Hotel Konansou Fuji Kawaguchiko Onsen Resort !
Getting to Inatori GINSUISO
So you can take the beautiful Odoriko to Izu but you can also take the normal express/local trains. Either way, you make your way to Izu Inatori station. From there, you will be greeted by the pick up bus ! The shuttle bus operates between Inatori GINSUISO and Izu Inatori Station at the following times.

- The travel time between our hotel and Izu-Inatori Station is approximately 5 minutes.
- The driver will be waiting in front of the Inatori Station ticket gate between 13:00 and 17:00 according to the arrival time of the train, so please ask.
- If you cannot find the driver when the train arrives, please call the hotel and wait at the shuttle bus waiting area on the station building.
- After exiting the ticket gate, go to the right and go up the stairs on the left, and you will find the waiting area for the shuttle bus.
- Please contact us upon arrival at Izu-Inatori Station between 17:00 and 19:00.
- You can get on the drop-off bus without a reservation.
For example, you can get from Shinagawa to Ito and then from Ito to Izu Inatori station.
Along the way, you will enjoy the amazing views of the sea along the Izu Peninsula.

When you exit the station gates, you will be greeted by at least 3 different pick up team. The one you want is this
And you will be led to a bus to take you to Inatori GINSUISO.

The bus will take you from the station (and back to the station) right up to Inatori GINSUISO.
The building is pretty nice too
The arrival hall is very nice and grand. There are fishes to feed too !
There is also a very nice gift shop at the ground floor.

Our Room at Inatori GINSUISO
I am a little disappointed with our room at Inatori GINSUISO as it seemed a little old and run down. Perhaps if we book a better room, it might be better. Nevertheless, it was an experience again to sleep in a tantami room !

Onsen
Of course, one main reason to come to the hotel is to enjoy the Onsen at the hotel. I cannot take photos inside the Onsen but here are some leading to the onsen.
It is an open-air bath with an ocean view attached to the large public bath. It really has a superb view ! As seen on their web site.

And just like at Kawaguchiko, we had dinner in the room too !

Food at Inatori GINSUISO
There are quite a few nice places to eat at Inatori GINSUISO. They have free flow of food and drinks at certain hours (happy hours, post dinner hours) where the food is pretty good.
The lounge offers great view again.
The view at the breakfast area is very nice.
And the breakfast is very good too !
Another Thing to Do at the Hotel
There is one more thing I suggest you do. Get out of the hotel in the morning and go for a walk or job along the shoreline.

Conclusion
Staying at Inatori GINSUISO will be a lovely way to spend a weekend at Izu area and also to visit the next place on our journey which is the Zoo !
