Another quick trip to Hong Kong again. My second this year (I know..). For this trip, we went to this local Dim Sum place at Nathan Road, Mongkok, Kowloon called London Chinese Restaurant Hong Kong. Very nice local Dim Sum.
So if you are bored of Lian Xiang Lou 莲香楼 or Lin Heung Kui 蓮香居 or even 端記茶樓 Duen Kee Dim Sum at Chuen Lung Village 大帽山, here is a convenient local dim sum place, right at the heart of Nathan Road.
How to get to London Chinese Restaurant Hong Kong
Super easy. How to get to London Chinese Restaurant is at Mong Kok, Kowloon. So take the MTR to Mong Kok Station and exit at D1. The exit of D1 is facing towards Argle Street, so take a u turn and you are facing Nathan Road. Turn left along Nathan Road and walk for a while.

You will see this and you are there.
And here you are.
Take the lift to third floor.
And you have arrived at a local dim sum place. You know you are there when locals are all over the restaurant and they are reading newspapers or looking at Hong Kong stock market. Ha uncle stock prices are all RED.
The Local Feel of Dim Sum Place
Check out the traditional feel of the place. The carpet. The carts. The Chinese restaurant feel. With the aging captains who probably worked like 30 years there. Amazing.
The Dim Sum at London Chinese Restaurant Hong Kong
The traditional way of ordering dim sum from a cart is slowly being phased out. The London Restaurant is one of the few remaining venues in town that still does it. So you still get the order paper to pass to the cart ladies who will mark the card and pass it to you.
There are some menus still…. But I still want and grab food from the carts.
Besides the carts, you can also go to the stations set up for you to pick up the food.
