端記茶樓 Duen Kee Dim Sum at Chuen Lung Village 大帽山
This is as ulu as I can go in Hong Kong for traditional dim sum. The name of the place is 端記茶樓 Duen Kee Chinese Restaurant. All the way to Tai Mo Shan 大帽山 area….
We have to take a car (thanks to a Hong Kong friend who drove us there) to Chuen Lung Village. Here’s a map of our drive from Tsim Sha Tsui to 端記茶樓 Duen Kee Chinese Restaurant.
There is a public toilet at the parking area:
And you can see the restaurant from the parking area:
And we arrived.. at this very traditional looking place. Tip: Go for the second floor eating area.. it has better air circulation and better views (you can see that from this photo … the area behind the signboard)
And the dim sum there is as traditional as you can get. Help yourself to the food…. no one is going to come to serve you, okie 🙂
And the tea leaves too.. help yourself:
A very interesting place to have dim sum even though it is really out of the way !
