Following extension renovations and the opening up of Singapore post-Covid, the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge Terminal 3 has re-opened on 20 May 2022.
KrisFlyer Gold Lounge Terminal 3 : Who Can Use It
KrisFlyer Gold Elite (including Star Alliance Gold) passengers who are departing Singapore in Premium Economy and Economy Class can use the new KrisFlyer Gold Lounge instead of the SilverKris Lounge.
You can enjoy access to the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge if you are a KrisFlyer Elite Gold or a Star Alliance Gold member departing on Singapore Airlines or Star Alliance operated flights, in Premium Economy or Economy Class.
On the other hand, if you are flying Business class on Singapore Airlines, you should definitely be using the SilverKris lounges. If you are flying First Class or Suites, then… never mind… you know what to do 🙂
For a period of time, the SilverKris lounge was crazily crowded as the Gold Lounge was not opened yet. The Gold Lounge operates 24-hours a day and can now provide some respite to the overcrowding situation in the SilverKris lounge.

KrisFlyer Gold Lounge Is Bright and Cheerful
I love the fact that the new lounge features plenty of natural daylight. The big windows facing the runways brings in a lot of natural day light which makes the whole place looks so nice and cheerful and BRIGHT…. it is refreshing. The SilverKris lounge was not like that. It was more dull and professional and solemn……
KrisFlyer Gold Lounge Has Many Types of Seating
You can always find a different way of using the Gold Lounge as it has all kinds of seating arrangements.
Sofa. High chairs. Workstations. You name it……
Or Sofa for the whole family…
Proper food tables for eating at krisflyer gold lounge…..
And poor you, if you need to work… I don’t work at Lounges.. I go there for food and toilets.. clean clean toilets .. with showers 🙂

And drinks aplenty..
And its famous laksa.. which frankly did not tasted good.. I wonder how it is now in SilverKris lounge… ohh.. that famous SilverKris Laksa..

A nice lounge to go to if you are NOT flying business class and you HAVE Elite Gold status with Krisflyer.
