A most wonderful sushi shop at Tokyo, Shinjuku area. It is in the shopping and eating area between the Keio Plaza Hotel and the Shinjuku subway.
It is a very nice friendly place with EXCELLENT sushi and a fantastic soup (order the crab soup). The Chawanmushi is the best I ever tasted in my life, I could eat a few of them without any regret…. Japanese food in Singapore now seemed so boring.
The shop is 元祖寿司…. of course, I believe it has many branches in Japan (as you can see on the web site) but the one I went is this one.

It is pretty inexpensive (I guess it is the typical sushi moving belt shop)….
I want to go back and eat it again but for now, it is just photos to make me greedy and hungry….

The sushi plates come with prices… just like in Singapore..
