As I mentioned in my last blog post, where I was staying at the Holiday Inn Sapporo Susukino Hotel, there was a family who hogged the laundry room in the hotel and I had lots of clothes to wash after my Niseko trip and before I go Tokyo. Luckily, we found a coin laundry or what laundromat nearby. The place is called Coin Laundry AQUA Hosui Susukino (AQUA(アクア) 豊水すすきの店).
The trip becomes a mini outing on its own. Let me share why 🙂

Very easy. Just walk out of the hotel and walk east on the same road and you will reach it 🙂

Nearby the coin laundry are TWO mini mart. One is a Family Mart and the other is a Seven-Eleven. And you know how good mini marts in Japan are.
We had a great time buying hot noodles and coffee and cookies and sweets, while waiting for hours to the laundry (to be washed and dried).
Super enjoyable.

There is a section that is ONLY FOR FEMALE customers so that they feel safe when using the laundromat at night. The Japanese culture is amazing.
You use these baskets AFTER it is done so that you can pack into your bags.
Don’t worry if you don’t have your coins. There is always a coin changing machine.

And as a bonus, you might as well wash your sneakers too. WOW WOW !!
