The Ubiquiti USW Flex Mini is the cheapest managed switch in the Ubiquiti UniFi line of products. It is super light and compact. Very cute device.
It has FIVE (5) RJ45 Ethernet ports, providing 1 Gigabit links to your devices. You can power the USW-Flex-Mini with either the included USB-C power adapter (first time I see a switch powered by a USB-C power adapter) or with 802.3af PoE Ethernet (eg from the Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X).
This is a managed switch which means you can use the Ubiquiti Controller software to actually manage the switch and create the more advanced networking options on them. Eg. Creating VLAN etc.
The unboxing is so simple. Ha.

And hello, cute baby switch. Don’t think I ever found such a strong love love feeling for a ….. switch !!!
Looking at the Ubiquiti Flex Mini 5 Port Switch, you can see the POE in port on the left side. That would be where you connect a Ethernet cable from a POE source (eg the 5th port of the Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X) to power this switch on. However, this switch does not have any POE out. That means you cannot, for example, power a UniFi NanoHD access point with it. For that, you need to look at a higher end switch.
The USB-C port at the back. Some internet folks suggest that it can be powered by a power bank with a USB C cable. I did not try it out.
