I had the chance to eat at the Drunken Pot Hong Kong this trip to Hog Kong. It was a short walk from the Hong Kong Coliseum where I watch the Jacky Cheung 60+ Concert.
From The Hong Kong Coliseum, it is 1.5 km walk from the concert to the hot pot. Best thing to do after an excellent concert !!

How do I know of the Drunken Pot Hong Kong
I actually know of the Drunken Pot Hong Kong through the AMEX Platinum Card Global Dining Offer.

This is an annual offer for American Express Platinum Card holders where you get $200 for Local (Singapore) Dining and $200 for Overseas Dining. Basically you are given $200 in credit card rebates for eating at selected restaurants in Singapore and overseas. You can expect that these restaurants are of the highest quality.
And that’s the case of Drunken Pot in Hong Kong. The address of the place is available on this screen shot.

This is one of the benefits of the American Express Platinum Card. Other benefits have been covered in many parts of this blog including Airport Lounge Visits (not just for food, drinks and even a day stay at 9 hours Narita Airport), shopping centre special lounge during Christmas such as the one called Platinum Avenue AMEX, and of course free hotel stays in top deluxe hotels (many are covered in this blog post category of hotels).
Do consider signing up for American Express Platinum Card !

Visiting the The Drunken Pot Hong Kong
The Drunken Pot Hong Kong is inside a pretty new building and you need to take a lift up to the second floor.

When we arrived at the place, we were the ONLY customers 🙂 I guess it was pretty late (about 11pm on a Sunday night). It was later that another group of two customers joined us.

The food is magnificent. The soup base (we had two soup base but my favourite was the Pork Belly soup base).
The menu of the restaurant.

I love the whole set of seasonings ! It looked so nice… HDL, take a step back please..

I thoroughly enjoyed the late night supper !!

The whole simple supper meal…

We had a great supper.
The Drunken Pot Hong Kong : To Go or Not To Go
Of course this is not our first hot pot experience in Hong Kong. We had 稻香超级渔港 Steamboat at Causeway Bay Hong Kong.
We also had a very good steam boat hot pot dinner at Da Hong Pao Hotpot at North Point (close to Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour) once and that’s Chinese New Year Eve.
But nothing compares to The Drunken Pot Hong Kong.
GO !!!!!!!
Don’t even hesitate !
