Standard Chartered Visa Infinite Credit Card comes with a very nice benefit. You get a complimentary 4 hour yacht hire if you spend S$75,000 in 2018 (not sure if this benefit will be in 2019, though). Of course, it can be really tough to get $75,000 spend (unless you are a damn big spender). What I did was to use CardUp service to generate the spend from my must spend expenses such as rental, car loan and education school fees etc (and earn the points for miles too).
So anyway, once you confirmed you have that spend in the credit card, the bank will send your details to a yacht company to arrange for a free 4 hour yacht.
The company assigned to help me was YMPL (https://www.ympl.com.sg). They contacted me and we worked on a date and a timing. They are pretty flexible on the date and timing (of course, the yacht must be available in the date you wanted). For the yacht, I had two choices. The Chartered Me 2 and The Lady Quikglow 2. Honestly, I could not tell the difference till they sent me these two videos. Hope this makes the choice clear ! 🙂

So I chose Chartered Me 2 (51′ Luxury Power Catamaran) and the timing I chose was 4 pm to 8 pm. We met the crew at One 15 Marina Club at Sentosa Cove and they are a fantastic crew. Very helpful ! Please do give them a nice tip at the end of the trip as it would be great too !
We said hello to the yacht…..
The interior:
They even prepared this for us 🙂
Leading to the rooms. Which honestly, I spent less than 5 mins in the whole 4 hours.. it is better to be outside 🙂
And yes you can shower if you want to..
These steps lead to the top deck:
Me spent all my time at this part of the yacht. Right at the top. Facing the sea.. nice
And they looked like they are enjoying themselves at the head of the yacht 🙂
Sharing a video of the yacht:

We had a safety briefing before we set off…Along the amazing Sentosa Cove condos..

We sail past the Kusu Island and stopped at bay inside of Lazarus Island. A few other yacht were there too… you can choose to stop at the jetty (and hence be able to walk into the island) or just at the bay (hence surrounded by the sea). We chose the former as we needed to walk a little due to the sea-sickness.
At this point, 2 things happened. One of the crew will unload all the sea equipment for us to enjoy while another will take whatever food we prepared and helped us to cook ! NiCE !!
Water Gun too 🙂
Cooking (note.. the food you need to prepare yourself and then bring abroad)
As dusk falls, the view gets even better:
Before we reach back to Singapore, the crew took us for a ride around the Marina Cruise Centre and the Marina Bay Sands area and took a group photo for us against the Marina Bay backdrop.
And reaching back to Sentosa Cove again:
It was a brilliant trip and I hope I can do this again next year……
