After testing out the Studio M Loft Room , I realised that my now-favourite Mercure Bugis has a loft room for day stay too. So here we are exploring Mercure Bugis Loft Room Day Stay.
Booking Mercure Bugis Loft Room Day Stay in DayUse
The Dayuse app has Mercure Bugis for booking at a pretty good price. Note that it is NOT always available and so not every day you can find Mercure Bugis for booking.
The cost is SGD108 to SGD118 for 6 hours of stay. Not too bad.
To be honest, I am not sure how to get the Loft Room (in the Mercure Bugis web site, there would be Signature Loft Room and Executive Loft Room) with the Dayuse app. I think if you book the superior queen room at SGD118, you might have a higher chance of getting a Loft Room 🙂
The Mercure Bugis Loft Room
It is not bad but as usual, because of the height of the curtains, there is always a corner of the curtain that does not completely block out the light from outside. So the room has some daylight even when I tried to close off the curtains. I don’t know if it is just the room I had but this is the second time (the first time was in Studio M Loft Room).
Nevertheless, the bed, this time, is on the loft floor. It is pretty cosy and the sleep was fantastic.
When you enter the room, there are separate toilet and shower rooms on the right.
To the left, there is usual place for the hanging of your clothes and placing of your bags.
And then there is a sofa bed next to the sink.
There is also a TV just opposite the sofa bed…
And looking UP is the loft with the bed..
Climbing up the loft to the loft bed..
A very cosy bed !! With a TV and a phone and charging points.. You will probably just spend your six hours here..
Looking down at the lower floor. You can also see the air con at the top of the room…. It blows directly at the bed.. so you will feel very comfortable 🙂
Why I like staying at Mercure Bugis Loft Room Day Stay
Mercure is an Accor hotel but of course, day stay does not qualify under any elite status qualification.
The location of Mercure Bugis is very good as it is near to Bugis MRT and also it is close to many good food. Plus there is always the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple nearby too.
And also in the hotel, parking is free too. Just ask for a parking coupon (take out your cash card) from the Concierge before you check out 🙂
I love Day Stays with FREE PARKING.
I have stayed in the non loft rooms of Mercure Bugis Singapore and they are pretty decent too.
All in all, for the price, it is one of my favourite Day Stay hotels in Singapore.
