Been a while since I wrote a “hiking” blog post so here’s one for today’s 4km walk from Kallang Riverside Park to MBS (Marina Bay Sands). In between, we will walk past the Singapore F1 Pit Building too.
This blog post can say to be an continuing post from the post “Walking from Toa Payoh to Kallang in 2023 : A Easier Walk Now” where we ended quite close to Kampong Bugis Carpark (close to Kallang Riverside Condo).
Starting off from Kampong Bugis Car Park
So this morning, I started my walk from Kallang Riverside Park to Marina Bay Sands by parking at the Kampong Bugis Car Park. There is a large sign that tell you that you are at Kallang Riverside Park.
And off we go…. but first a beautiful photo of our new National Stadium.
A little walk from the park and you will see this white bridge. Cross over to it to reach Marina Promenade.
Beautiful view as you cross this little bridge…
A short walk later, you will then walk under a real bridge.. that should be the Merdeka Bridge…

But in the meantime, enjoy the views of the Kallang Riverside/Marina Promenade in our walk from Kallang Riverside Park to MBS…..
Interesting place I saw and I don’t know is the home of “Waterways Watch Society“. Pretty cool society… Support them, okay ! :p

And of course, you will walk past the Golden Mile Complex, soon to be a new condo complex called Aurea.
Walking on a little, I can see the exit B of Nicoll Highway MRT Station. That means, if you don’t want to start from Kallang Riverside Park to MBS, then you can take the train to Nicoll Highway MRT station and join this walk from Exit B.
Moving on ! What a nice way to start your day !
Walking on and you are under the ECP/Benjamin Sheares Bridge !

F1 Pit Building from Kallang Riverside Park to MBS
Amazing to be here… very quiet.. unlike that weekend :p
First up is the Paddock Club (the high class people :p…)
Then it is the actual Pit Buildings..
Singapore Airlines are everywhere here..
Walking past the F1 Singapore Grand Prix Pit Buildings, you will be immediately greeted by the Singapore Flyer !
And just opposite the sea is the Marina Bay Sands .. she looks so slim here…
Moving on, you will see this small gap where you can walk into..
You will take this path if you want to go to Sands Expo and Convention Centre. If you want to go to the Marina Bay Sands hotel itself, you can take the right and then the bridge (you can see the bridge above in the photo). That would be walking along the road to Marina Bay Sands.
For me, I took the path and then end up at the The Helix Bridge !
About The Helix Bridge in Singapore
A little walk and you end up at the bridge. It is very quiet in the morning so it is a great time to come..
And take some photos of our Singapore Skyline !
And Marina Bay Sands and ArtScience Museum !
And a little walk, we reached our end point for today… the MBS Shopees
Kallang Riverside Park to MBS : Total Distance and Time
The total distance I took from Kallang Riverside Park to MBS is 3.5 km only and it took me 47 mins.
