I grew up watching Hong Kong serials and one of the most common thing about them is they talked about their relatives or friends moving to Vancouver, Canada. Or how many of the current stars came from there (grew up in USA or Canada and then come back to HK).. So it became an image in me that Vancouver must be a place with many Chinese and great Hong Kong food π π π

Was in Chinatown and have no idea where to eat. We saw a group of old Chinese men and old Chinese ladies, walking leisurely down the main road in Chinatown. Instinct told me I thought they are going to “yum cha” (drink tea or eat dim sum etc).. so with our Cantonese, we asked them where to eat.
They recommended Garden Villa Seafood Restaurant.
