We drove to Wave Rock from Perth’s Swan Valley and along the way, we were treated to many small towns and I took a detour to see the Tin Horse Highway (more of that in another blog post).
It was a very long drive from Perth’s Swan Valley to Wave Rock. We were there for one night but I would advise for at least one more night. There are many other attractions you can see in Wave Rock area, other than the Wave Rock.
And yes, the Wave Rock. What an experience with your camera…
We had some time (we arrived at around 4 pm and the sky gets dark at 5 pm)… so we walked up to the top of the Wave Rock and took a look at the surroundings.

I heard the view is even better in the morning (when the sun starts to rise) so do make an effort to wake up for that !
