One of my dream was to watch a musical at Broadway in New York City. I did that on my trip to New York and was also delighted to be able to watch one of my favourite musical, Phantom of the Opera, too.
I watched it once in Singapore but trust me, the feeling is so different. Even though it was only an afternoon show, the feeling is fantastic. I had the first row seats and could peel into the orchestra pit and see the musical team playing. The props are great and I was so impressed at the cast and gave them a standing ovation.
I bought my tickets online after much research and planning. Finally I used Telecharge and here are the details (I still kept the email from 2007).

I sincerely urged you to try out to watch a musical at Broadway if you are ever in New York. It is not as expensive as you think and it really takes some planning (and advanced booking) but end of the day, it is really worth the experience.
