Ouch.. Broke.. Very broke
Always wanted (and needed) a NAS and so decided to go for the broke. Just get the whole full set for a long usage period. After some research (I was at first favouring drobo) but after much thought, I decided to pay more and get the latest Synology DS1511+… Went for 5 Seagate 2TB hard disk (and did a RAID 5) as well as a 2GB RAM upgrade. It comes with 3 years warranty and I hope I can use it for that long..
The needs of a modern man are always not enough hard disk space .. GRIN
