I have been needing a new laptop and have been deciding if I wanted to buy the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. While I was deciding (and took a long time), there was an upgrade to the MacBook Pro this WWDC. However, apparently, the upgrade is not really that necessary and that caused me to think that I should just save a few dollars and see if I can get a refurnished set.

I have been looking at this site for a while and been monitoring for a good deal. In the end, there was an unit appearing “Refurbished 13.3-inch Macbook Pro 2.9GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5 with Retina Display – Space Grey” with 16 GB RAM. When added with an AppleCare, it cost about $500 less than the latest 13.3″ MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM.
16GB RAM.. Me like.. Me want more RAM (even if it is not necessary…horrible me)..
This is my first refurbished Apple MacBook Pro and I am a little nervous about it. So far so good.
