September 9, 2011 Is your gigabit patch panel working well? Did you see the monoprice.com review about saying it doesn't fulfill the full throughput? Reply Chinese September 9, 2011 Hi so far it is okay for me. During installation, one of the ports is not working but I just move the cables to another and it worked. I also tested using a network tester and all 8 cores are working. However, I dun have any equipment to test the “throughput” (not sure what is needed). i did use a software to test but that's so dependent on the hard disk speed… See these 2 tests. One is to my NAS and one is to AC Ryan. All over network. http://www.smugmug.com/photos/i-B5thcPP/0/L/i-B5thcPP-L.jpghttp://www.smugmug.com/photos/i-7sJwdmX/0/L/i-7sJwdmX-L.jpg Any comments ? So far, all my streaming are working fine and all my file transfers are good speed (except to the damn AC Ryan which is quite slow). To me, as long as it works 🙂 Reply And Tell me Your Thoughts Cancel reply This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Learn how your comment data is processed.
