Metropark Hotel Wan Chai

Location Location Location

That just summarise this hotel, Metropark Wan Chai, which I have the joy of staying in my most recent trip to Hong Kong. It is located pretty near to the MTR, very near to Tram stop and next to the bus stop for Airport Express bus.

If you are taking the Airport Express bus from the Airport Express Station at Hong Kong Station, then the “hotel stop” is Empire Hotel Wan Chai (H1). But the Empire Hotel Wan Chai bus stop for the Airport Express bus is also just opposite Metropark Wan Chai ! Did I mention that the bus is free 🙂

And lots of good food around. Too many !!! Just besides the hotel is the Mak Siu Kee Traditional Wonton Noodle (麥兆記(祖傳)廣州雲吞麵). I visited the one in Tin Hau but this one at Wan Chai is just next to the hotel. Just behind the hotel is my favourite Tsui Wah which is super awesome !!! And in this blog, I already shared a few great eating places at Wan Chai. See here, here, and here. But really Wan Chai is fantastic place as there are many more good food. And a very good Cosmos book shop just opposite the hotel. There is also a few 24 hours convenience stores just opposite the hotel too.

Wonderful. Just one advice. Do not bother to have the smallest room, Comfort. It is really too small for two person. Go up to at least one level higher than the smallest room (Spacious Comfort). Also if you are travelling in a group of 3, this is one of the few hotels that I know have TRIPLE room. It is fantastic. Two beds in one room and one bed in the smaller room. Pretty good for families !
