Unboxing my new toy the Linksys Velop. After some struggles with it, including the setting up of back haul, and the impact on my ViewQWest router (which kept flashing red alarm), I decided to just use it as a simple Wifi Mesh without any backhaul π
But after that, as a Wifi Mesh, the Linksys Velop works really well. I love the fact that I can access it (through the Linksys app) from outside the house and check on it.
Set up later… now is just unboxing the Linksys Velop..

One miserable network cable. But I guess it is enough for most if you don’t need back haul.

Bottom. Two network ports. One reset button (which, if you have bad luck, might need it more often).
Love it when power plugs are modular and allow you to change the plugs to 3 pins:
