There are many ways of learning about digital marketing in Singapore. You can do so through Udemy and other online sites and there are many online classes too. And in sunny Singapore, we have many people running digital marketing courses in classes too. And you can even attend such courses with Skills Future funding. These are not cheap but nevertheless it is a way to learn some digital marketing.
I personally think learning Digital Marketing is always a useful skill to have. Even if you are NOT doing it for yourself or your employers, you can always in the future be doing it for others through agency work. That means you run digital marketing for others and help them to sell their products and services for them. I personally know many insurance agents and property agents wishing for people to help them in digital marketing.
Introducing the One Funnel Away 30 days Challenge
What if I told you that you can start learning a very high quality digital marketing class through the for just USD100.
Run by the very famous Russell Brunson, it was really a very interesting experience for me in Singapore to try it out and learn digital marketing from him.
Basically the idea is Russell Brunson (and his team) will, for 30 days, give you a daily challenge to do. At the end of the 30 days, you will have a ready funnel (think of it as a “product line”) to market. He will take you step by step through the process of thinking of what to sell, how to set up his software, how to use paid ads and non-paid methods to drive traffic to your funnel and finally how to troubleshoot your “non-performing” funnel.
Cost of the Challenge is USD 100
. And for that cost (and shipping costs), they would send all the physical materials to you in the box (and yes, I have received the box in Singapore). But you don’t really need the physical materials in reality. Everything is available online. But if you are as “Virgo” as me, you will want to receive the materials. Unboxing photos later 🙂
Now, don’t assume that our dear friend, Russell Brunson, is doing this for a good deal (it is only USD 100 !?). Of course, he wants you to use his software, ClickFunnel, to set up your “funnel” and sell your product through his software.
I can tell you that actually you don’t need his software. You can do the same “actual sale” through other software (e.g. WordPress). But of course it is easier to do so. But for this course, just follow along and learn the SKILLS of the digital marketing from the guru, Russell Brunson. There is a separate teacher (a female teacher) who teachers the technical part. And another guy who teaches copy-writing and finally another guy who screams his way through his videos (which I never watch).
What if you don’t have anything to sell (yet)
And honestly, you don’t even need to plan to sell anything. Just by making an effort to listen to his videos (and his team-mates’ videos) every day, you will learn a lot about digital marketing. Then you can decide later how you want to do this.
I can see from the Facebook Group for this challenge that many did this challenge a few times. First time (just like me) was simply to appreciate the digital marketing concepts that he is teaching. Then subsequently, once you have decided on your product, you can and do it properly (with software and ads and traffic driving skills etc).
It is really up to you.
This chart shows the digital marketing value chain he teaches. Really very enlightening. I learnt a lot from him. I can see how some local marketing gurus are using his skills. I can see how a very famous Metaphysics master in Malaysia (and in Singapore) are using this exact method to sell his Feng Shui and Bazi online courses. And that master is doing very well for his online classes.

Dot.Com Secrets and Expert Secrets Books Are Good Start too
If you want to, you can even start reading Russell Brunson’sRussell Brunson’s very famous two books before the next challenge starts in June 2019. These two books are the the Dot.Com Secrets and Expert Secrets. This will give you a head start.
They are free or USD1 only but you need pay for shipping to Singapore…. These 2 books are great for knowledge on what it takes to succeed in Digital Marketing.
My View After Finishing the course
I worked really hard . As in I really set time aside every day to listen to the videos, the tutorials and the Youtube videos. I DID NOT set up any funnel as I have not decided what to sell online (or never will).
I just spent USD100 to learn something and found it very useful. I really learnt a lot and as I am surfing through the Internet, I started to see others’ marketing efforts and their funnels or their way of trying to get sales.
For . You do need to invest some time (about an hour a day or even more if you are really going to sell something in internet). But it will be money and time well spent.
