This is one of my favourite hotels in Hong Kong. I have stayed at this Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui hotel twice for two trips in a row (and I don’t even like staying at Tsim Sha Tsui area… ha), so you can imagine how much I like it.

The reasons are quite a few. One is that the rooms are pretty big. Second is the location. It is located at Tsim Sha Tsui area (of course) but very easy to access via Exit N of the TST station. It sits on top of K11 shopping mall and K11 shopping mall is pretty nice place to shop.
Finally it is located in an area full of FOOD FOOD FOOD and that is very important to me ! π
Getting to Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui in 2017
It is very easy to get to this hotel from the airport. First you buy the Airport Express tickets at the airport once you passed customs (and there is a discount for group travellers so make sure you ask for that discount). Then with the Airport Express train, you reach the Kowloon station. At the Kowloon station, you go down one level (look for signs that say Free Shuttle bus to hotels, there is a lift to take you down) and at the shuttle bus area, you can take the free shuttle bus, K3, to the hotel itself.
And repeat the process when you go back. Go to B3 level of the hotel and then wait for the shuttle bus to bring you to Kowloon station (and if you are flying on certain airlines, you can do a downtown check in at Kowloon station).

And oh the hotel has a good thing. If you checked out early and your flight is later in the evening and you want to go shopping at TST area (or eat !!), then all you need to do is to check out and leave the bags with the concierge. They will bring the bags to B3 (the level where you can take Airport Express free shuttle bus or a taxi) and you don’t have to go up to the lobby (The lobby of this hotel is not on the ground floor).

And as I mentioned earlier, you can also do a downtown check in at Kowloon station and just go straight to the airpot via Airport Express and just go to the gates directly ! Here are the checkoff cut off times for the Singapore Airline flights (as at Dec 2017).

The hotel lift (if you take to Ground floor) will bring you to Hanoi Street where there is already an entrance to TST station and is hence quite convenient. And from Hanoi street, you can walk and explore the streets nearby which has many small shops and excellent food (and lots of fashion shops too).
Mammy Pancake in 2017
Including Mammy Pancake which is like 3 steps away from the hotel… Michelin ok ! π
