Always wanted to see a concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum (香港體育館) since I saw Jacky Cheung and Leslie Cheung performed their concerts there in VCDs (and DVDs) back in the 80s and 90s.
It is the place of choice for the hottest Mandarin and Canto pop singers to hold their concerts. It has been a dream for me that I have not fulfilled so far (It did come true in 2024 though.. Happy ! :p).
Whenever I go to HK, either the stars I wanted to watch are not performing then or there was no performances at all 🙁
And to think, for this latest trip to Hong Kong last week, the new Heavenly king of Chinese Pop, Mr Jay Chou, was performing there but I could not get any tickets 🙁
So happen that I had some time before I flied back to Singapore so I finally took the trip to the Hong Kong Coliseum. Located at the Hung Hom MTR station, it was a dream (half) come true for me 🙂
And boy was it a sight..
