Stayed at this hotel Grande Centre Point Ratchadamri during a recent trip to Bangkok. Location is quite good (a short walk to Chit Lom BTS) and very near to Grand Hyatt Erawan (and hence the Erawan Shrine, which is my purpose of this trip). Just be aware that there are many Grande Centre Point hotel in Bangkok (e.g. there is one at Terminal 21 shopping mall too). You might also want to consider adding breakfast to the hotel deal as it is pretty hard to find good food early in the mornings….
Hotel Lobby:
I was really lucky and nice to the receptionists 🙂 And hence managed to get a nice upgrade to a nice room with a great view of the The Royal Bangkok Sports Club. The room was big. Even has a study room portion and a kitchen. The bathroom has a bath tub too..

Overall it is a pretty useful hotel for its location and if you want to be near to the Siam area which has many great shopping malls. I enjoyed eating and shopping at these malls.
Just be aware that this hotel is heavily used by Chinese tour groups and you can see that they even have a China version of their web site.
It all depends on your personal preferences. You cannot beat the location for its great price 🙂
