I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Beijing for my latest trip to Beijing.
It is very convenient as it is next to 王府井美食街 (super duper tourist trap) and also very close to 天安门 and hence the Forbidden City.
It is located at the crossroads of Chang’an Avenue and Wangfujing, and is part of the Oriental Plaza – China’s largest commercial complex, with direct access to the adjacent shopping mall.

Interesting set up that might be of interest to family….
Warning to… men :). This sort of tricks in China is very real as many men come here alone on business trips and might be tempted to do so.
