Got myself a as part of 11-11 shopping. I know that there is a latest version of Hero 8 but as this is my first sports video cam, I am happy to try a cheaper version to try out what it is like to use a GoPro.
The 11-11 shopping makes this GoPro Hero 7 Magic very worthwhile.

Charging the GoPro for first use. The “red lights” will go away after full charged. You can also configure how many of these “red lights” you want to be seen. At least one to know it is charging 🙂
Upon linking the GoPro Hero 7 to the GoPro iPhone app, you can update the firmware.

Of course the fun part is the ecosystem for GoPro is pretty strong so it is easy (and cheap) to buy accessories. I bought some during 11-11 shopping spree. Not sure if I will use all of them ha ha.
Of all the accessories, I feel that having is very important as you really can feel the battery draining very quickly. For about four hours bicycle ride I did in Japan, I had to change the batteries twice.
My current past time is to play around with it so that I can do some decent videos for work and for fun.
Where can you get your GoPro Hero 7 Magic in Singapore
Besides Lazada, you can get it in the photo shops at many places. I suggest trying the Plaza Singapura shops.
