I finally used my SingapoRediscovers Voucher (SRV). I used it on a stay in the Goodwood Park Hotel in Singapore.

It was a pleasant stay and the Goodwood Park Hotel’s Deluxe Premium Room was really larger than I thought it would be. The staff were very helpful and managed to give me a room with a bath tub which was important for my son.
Overall, I had a great stay.
Entrance to Goodwood Park Hotel
Yes, I know we all see this photo of Goodwood Park all the time.
But make no mistake, this is not the “real entrance” if you are dropping off and checking in.
So what is exactly at the “famed” entrance of the hotel ?

Goodwood Park Hotel Lobby
The lobby was pretty packed when I was checking in but at a later part of the day, it was much quieter and I managed to take some photos of the nice airy lobby.
Near to the Goodwood Park Hotel Lobby, there is the very popular tea buffet time place.
There are some great parts in the hotel which are very quiet and comfortable. I can imagine just hanging around there, reading a book.
Goodwood Park Hotel Deluxe Premium Room
I had two rooms so I am sharing some photos of the 2 Deluxe Premium Rooms. So you might find different angles of the rooms.
The very important (to my son) the bath-tub. There is no separate shower room so you will have to take the shower in the bath-tub.
Having the glass covers are very helpful in keeping the toilet dry.
This is, no Andaz Singapore, of course 🙂
Goodwood Park Hotel Swimming Pool
There are TWO pools. One main pool next to the lobby and one MayFair pool. A much smaller room.
The Swimming Pool is right next to the hotel rooms too. I realised some of those on the “ground floor” has direct access to the pool area, which is great.

Dinner at Min Jiang
We had dinner at Min Jiang which has a discount for the hotel guests too.
Breakfast at Coffee Lounge was also reasonably good with very attentive staff which had great service.

Conclusion of Stay at Goodwood Park
All in all, it was a good stay with a nice big room and very good staff. And also considering all the costs involved (I booked through Trip.com as I have no “membership” here) and that I can finally be using SRV vouchers too.
