Taiwan is an amazing place and I hope to share some of the travel photos I took on a recent trip.
Here’s a short guide on how I get to the Flying Cow Ranch. You might have a much better way ! 🙂
From Taipei Main Station, I bought tickets on Service 561 to Tongxiao in Miaoli. These are the ticket booths. Damn grand. Super duper cool. Bloody cool.
You can check the services to take from Taiwan Railways Administration. Depending on what time you want to go to the farm (I suggest leaving Taipei early as there are MUCH TO DO in the farm).
Anyhow, tickets !
Down to the platform we go (after visiting the super convenience stores where you can get practically anything). Check the screen on which platform to take your train. I am on 561 and hence you can see it is Platform 3A.

And off we go… watching the stations go by….
Singapore men who served in Armour will sometimes know of this place. It brings back lots of memories for me….

I feel like in a Taiwan movie… so quiet platform.. where is my female lead actress 🙂

Grab a taxi from one of the two taxi stations there:

The drive will take you through the Tongxiao town and then out to the wild..
And you will reach the main gate. Make sure your hotel booking forms are with you (to show to the friendly security guard)..
And ta ta.. the arrival at the Flying Cow Ranch..
