Sometimes I really amused my own self. I always feel that my internet connection is too slow. The ISP must be screwing me. The ISP must be throttling my downloads. My router is too slow. Where do I placed my PC to the router or the switch ? And so when I heard of the EnGenius ESR9859 $99 offer in Singapore, I cannot stop myself. After all, it has a a great score in the smallnetbuilder WAN to LAN Throughput (yes, that will really work with me.. any kind of reviews will make me buy :p)
And so I brought one… Sigh..

One thing I noticed was this: At first, i set my wireless security at WPA(TKIP) but my MacBook Pro will not connect at “N” (only at “G” band). Then I changed my wireless security to WPA(AES).. I can connect at “N” now.. Interesting
So did it improved my downloading speed ? Er… it is still too soon to tell.. really.. I promised to tell you all if it does. I promise.. I promise..
