During this recent trip to Hong Kong, I stayed at the Cordis Hotel in Mong Kok area. It was because I went with my family and needed a hotel near to the MTR (it is very near to the Mong Kok MTR) and also near to food (lots of food !! this is Mong Kok after all) and most importantly, the rooms are big and nice for family stay.

You get this smartphone at almost all hotels in Hong Kong nowadays. Free calls back to Singapore to check on The Maid !! 🙂
Toilet.. because it is so glassy and exposed, it feels very bright and clean and nice..
I like how they separate the shaver from the shaving cream. Smart and environmentally friendly.

Cordis is right next to Langham Place Shopping Mall which is, of course, the subject of one of my TVB blog post on 女皇辦公室. It is linked to each other by a short bridge (at the lobby which several floors above ground) and once you reached Langham place, you can easily go down back several floors to basement B2 to reach the Mong Kok MRT. Good for families with elderly folks and children. Personally for me, I prefer to just walk out of the hotel at Ground floor and walk across the road, past interesting shops and into the MTR. But that’s me 🙂

One great thing about Cordis is the service. Look at what the room cleaning ladies left behind when they saw my many charging cables. Wire ties ! With Cordis name on it ! Wonderful !
