Apple launches its latest AirPods, the noise cancelling , in Singapore today. I managed to grab a pair and here are the unboxing photos.
Compared to the Sony WF-1000XM3, it feels more “filmsy” as it is a little smaller in size and even the casing is much smaller. I have some photos of that at the end of the blog post.

The AirPods Pro comes with 3 silicon tips. The one installed is the Medium Size. There is a Small and a Large Pair should you need it.
Wow. They provided a Lightning to USB Cable for charging the AirPods Pro 🙂 Sarcastic 🙂
You can see the extra AirPods ear buds in the middle.
To change the AirPods ear buds is pretty simple.
Setting up the AirPods Pro
As usual, the set up is very fast and very easy. It pairs immediately with my Apple iPhone. The set up comes with instructions this time on how to use the . This is done by “squeezing” the stems… (for lack of better words)..
The AirPods Bluetooth Screen is also slightly different. It has the noise cancellation controls panel.
You will notice the ear tip fit test button. Interesting !! 🧐
Pressing it, it took me through some testing screens and concluded that my middle sized tips are good seal.
Doing the test again with Large Ear Tips has the same results !! So what does it really matter ?
Okay. So I decided to do with it the SMALL ear tips test. It felt loose in my ears and indeed the results said so. “Adjust or Try a different size”…. wow. OK 👍 👌
