TVB聖地 合興 Getting There

Another TVB location that I managed to visit this trip… this is the famous 合興 which is featured in so many TVB serials. The official address is 九龍灣 啟業村 啟業街 5號 熟食亭.

I will guide you there… 🙂

So first, get yourself to Kowloon BAY MTR (Take note, this is KOWLOON BAY, not the Kowloon TONG station nearer to town)..

Once you are there, exit by EXIT B

It gets a bit tricky here but always look out for signs indicating “啟業村 Kai Yip Estate”. When you reach EXIT B, you do a sort of right 180 degree turn which will get to a stair that bring you to the ground floor (you are on the 2nd floor when you at Exit B). The whole idea is to get to the pavement next to the road next to the MTR.

Once on the ground floor, walk NORTH (UP) along the road (You will see a signboard saying Kwun Tong Road along the way)… it will be quite a walk.. here’s a map showing you the walk…

You will see this.. and you will also walk past a bus stop..

After about 10 mins walk, you should see this signboard for KAI TAI COURT.. U are very very near to the 啟業村 estate (but not the 合興 yet. HA HA).

Walk a bit more and you can see this school and walk towards it.. u should see a nice location map:

As you can see from the location map of the estate, 合興 is right at the top of the estate 啟業村. The blue is where you are now.. and the pink is where you need to be… You can just cut across the estate.. but I dare not… it looks very dark and very quiet.. so what i did was to do a small loop along the road

So I walk (BLUE) to see the signboard and then PINK outwards to the road

And just did the PINK route (the BLUE route is where you walked from MTR).

Note that you will be there around 7pm or later as 合興 only opens after 7 pm.. So it is at night you are doing this.. Anyway, doing the pink route or just walking across the estate, you should reach the FOOD place.. there are quite a few eating places there (and surprise, the most popular is NOT 合興 !)….

But here you are.. here I am.. at yet another TVB location 🙂

In the next blog post, I will share what I ate there and how to get back from 合興 to the MTR and hence how to get to 合興 by an alternative (better route) 😛
