And you can bet it is fresh as the food came from the fishermen at the pier. Ha.

Just like normal tourist places, you will get a lot of people asking you to eat at their restaurant. It is quite a stretch of seaside restaurant and I personally think they are all the same. Anyway, the ladies negotiated a fair deal and we had a wonderful dinner. Just like the dinner 1 year ago at Lamma Island, I had a very good seafood dinner in Hong Kong.

Which makes me wonder.. why do people say seafood is great in Singapore ?

  1. For 2 person in Lamma, we paid HK500 for a set dinner (consisting quite a few very good dishes including Live Fish and tea etc.. check out my Lamma island photos). For 4 person in Sai Kung, we spent about HKD700 as per above. One thing to note is that the prices are very competitive as the stores (in both Lamma and Sai Kung) are next to each other…. u can bargain and add or remove dishes from the set meal…

If u have a whole day, go to Lamma for a nice walk from the different parts of the island before finishing up with dinner. If u have 1/2 day, then go to Sai Kung. Remember to eat Dessert at Sai Kung too 🙂
