I bought this monitor recently to use with my Mac Mini and Windows 7 PC. It has two input ports (a VGA that I am using with my Windows and a DVI that I am using with my Mac Mini). I wish it has 2 DVIs though.
You will be surprised that it is so hard to find this monitor in Sim Lim. Apparently it is now going out of production soon which is a waste. Why ? Cause I love the design. Plain and simple. As boring as me.
As a whole, it is a great monitor. I love the fact that it is a 16:10 monitor rather than the numerous 16:9 models around. I need it for 2 reasons. First, the Mac Mini can go up to 1920×1200 so that’s a 16:10 aspect. Secondly, I also want to make sure it matches the aspect and the dimension of the Dell 2408WFP so that it will be easier eventually for me to do dual monitors set up. If you are using a LCD monitor for PC/Mac purposes, I believe you should use 16:10 model. That’s my personal view. Plus also I like the shape of the bazel. It is straight and professional looking. I don’t like those shapely curve kind that is normally associated with Samsung monitors. I prefer a more professional straight look for PC/Mac usage.
It does have great colour reproduction. It also have a quick change of different modes (e.g. Text, Internet, Game, Movies etc) that is really helpful.
One aspect that I don’t like is the switches (that is used for accessing the menu for brightness etc). They are so soft that they are too reactive. A little touch and they are activated. Many a times, I have trouble controlling the switches as I scrolled through the menus. I prefer the normal harder switches.
