Got the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go during the 8-8 Courts sale which has it for a good price of $979.
In addition, as my business has an American Express Highflyer card, I got an offer that was available at that time. The offer was $200 credit for any $800 expenses at the Electronics shop. This further reduced the cost by $200 which is great.

The delivery was not the quickest. About a week but that’s because I did not pay for expedited delivery. No hurry. This was to be a laptop for my son’s Home Based Learning during the Covid period. This is my latest Microsoft laptop purchase for a while. The last one was a Surface Pro.

It comes with Microsoft Windows 10 Home (S Model). Windows 10 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Microsoft Store, you’ll need to switch out of S mode. Switching out of S mode is one-way.Â

Conclusion
It was a nice laptop and very light. Nice to be using it for day to day use without any demands for heavy duty gaming needs etc.
