And so you have reached the entrance after following the directions to the Man Fat Sze or Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery (萬佛寺). Well, you better be wearing some good walking shoes. It is a good long walk up a long, long, long, long stairway up to the top of the hill where the actual monastery is.

So here’s sharing some pictures of the walk walk walk. My advice ? Take a slow walk, admire the statues and most importantly, read (if you know Chinese) the wise sayings placed along each statue.
