Just back from a great Hong Kong trip and will progressively share photos and places I visited (which I hope will be helpful to you !).
One of the places I ate this trip is Joy Hing Roasted Meat 再興燒臘飯店 at Wan Chai. Confession. I only went there because the damn queue at Kam’s Roast Goose is so freaking long on the Saturday afternoon. Amazing !!
The verdict of the food ? So so only. But the roasted pork 叉烧 is damn good (to me.. not to my companions). The roasted goose is not so good.
Anyhow, here’s how to get there…

There was a queue when I was there.. but it took only about 15 mins or so (This whole trip, I queued and queued and queued for all kinds of food.. weird.. ha)
Every one is a Michelin nowadays..
By the way, if you want to cook 叉烧 yourself, I recommend this recipe at mywoklife. Maybe you can get a Michelin yourself one day 🙂

The roasted pork 叉烧 that I would die for.. but only me in my group, apparently 🙂
Conclusion: I would NOT go all the way for this but will try to go to Kum’s first (simply because it has the better roasted goose) and if the queue is really too long (for you… for me, food is never too long to wait :p)…. then you can try this…. especially must try the roasted pork 叉烧.
