My American colleagues, knowing my love for music, got me this headset recently from Apple Store in USA and send it to me. This headset is part of a collection of specially designed headphones from a Dr. Dre (who is some kind of audiophile ?).
Anyway, after I got it, I used it quite regularly at home. I dun know if I want to take this around town or on the subway but who knows…… Looks too big to bring outside and plus it will mess up my hair 🙂
Comes in a great looking box, a bag to hold it as you bring it around and there is even a cleaning cloth !
It has great bass and a great sound ! When watching to videos, I can hear sounds in the background of the videos that are meant to be heard (e.g. in a office environment, even as the cast are talking, i can hear clearly phone calls, typewriting clicks and paper files cabinets opening). Excellent.
One thing to be careful. The connection cable between the headset and your portable music player must be in the right direction. The RIGHT ANGLE connector must go to the portable music player while the STRAIGHT connector goes to your headset. I made a mistake initially and thought my set was faulty. Yes, the music was played but in a “karaoke” like mode 🙂
The headset itself is also a iPhone compatible headset which means there is a mic control in the cable which allows you to do your phone calls and also allow you to control the tracks, the volume and the stop/pause/forward/rewind the songs.
Always wanted such a headset and so very pleased with it. Thanks guys !!
