After finishing my walk at Hong Kong East Coast Boardwalk, I was in Fortress Hill area so I walked down City Garden Road to visit Angus Cafe and Uncle Ben Coffee.

I cannot remember how I know of Angus Cafe but it was in my to do list for a (long while). As for Uncle Ben Coffee, it is so close to Angus Cafe that you must visit it. I first heard of Uncle Ben Coffee from this Youtube channel, Sam and Victor, which I highly recommend for their Hong Kong (and Japan) videos.
They are literally next to each other…

Angus Cafe
There was a short queue outside Angus Cafe when I visit so I took the chance to look at the menu outside the cafe.

A 餐, B 餐, C 餐 ? Check out the Angus Cafe Breakfast Menu 🙂

The other menu items..

The interior of the cafe is definitely a traditional cha chaan teng (which, of course, Patnotebook loves so much in Hong Kong such as Kam Wah Cafe 金華冰廳, Cheung Lee Restaurant (祥利冰室), Mido Cafe, Honolulu Coffee Shop 檀島咖啡餅店,

My simple breakfast is here :).. First up is the HONG KONG STYLE MACARONI SOUP WITH HAM 🙂

And then… heavenly eggs….. with sandwich….

Of course I have my favourite Yuenyeung….

YUMMY !
Uncle Ben Coffee
Uncle Ben Coffee in Hong Kong, (URL : https://unclebencoffee.com/) is at King Wah Road, which is just next to Angus Cafe, is best known for its 168 House Blend—a Hong Kong–roasted mix of Brazilian, Indonesian, and Ethiopian beans that delivers a smooth, nutty flavour profile suited for espresso and milk‑based drinks.
Their single‑origin filters (e.g., Honduras, Colombia, Ethiopia) also stand out, shifting regularly to showcase top-tier beans. Fans rave about Ben’s hand‑crafted lattes, both for nuanced taste and beautiful latte. These drinks, combined with laid‑back, hole‑in‑the‑wall café vibes and soigne merch like canvas tote bags, create loyal local and Insta‑friendly appeal .

And indeed the “hole in the wall” cafe might not look obvious (you know, like a Starbucks or Halfway Coffee) so you might miss it.
But the Blue and White Uncle Ben Coffee Logo is pretty nice….

At the front of the cafe are nice special seats…

Besides coffee, they also sell unique Uncle Ben stuff… like this bag I nearly bought 🙂

But I love my Latte from Uncle Ben Coffee !

Conclusion on Angus Cafe and Uncle Ben Coffee
Go ! Have a nice breakfast at Angus Cafe, preferably after your walk at Hong Kong East Coast Broadwalk and then a nice coffee at Uncle Ben Coffee.
What a way to start your day in Hong Kong !
