元朗 was one of the places we visited this trip. Why??? Okay.. you can say “BO LIAO” again… but it was a TVB serial again.. this time is 老友狗狗 which is a serial based in the countryside including many shots of Yuan Lang Town Central… So die die must visit right ? No lah.. cause we wanted to buy 老婆餅 and some roasted duck stuff.
It was also a pretty convenient way for us to go from the Wishing Tree. From the Wishing Tree main road, there were public buses as well as the Mini Bus that took us to Yuen Lang. We took the Mini Bus (since we loved Mini Bus so much). From there, it was a drive through the country side all the way to Yuan Lang. In fact, from Yuan Lang, we asked around for the Mini Bus terminal and after asking around, we managed to take a mini bus to Yue Kee Roasted Goose again (yes.. I once said before, every single trip to Hong Kong, I must go to Yue Kee.. I LOVE YUE KEE.. I will in next few days share the “daylight” photos of Yue Kee since I went during Lunch this time).
Anyway, back to the mini bus from Wishing Tree. We were quite concerned if we can reach the shop we wanted. What a surprise when it stopped right at the door step of the famous 恆香老餅家 to buy 老婆餅 !!
To be exact, it stopped at the side road called Yat San Street which is just next to the shop:
