This trip, I finally made it from Seattle to Vancouver. This time I did it via the Amtrak Cascades train. It is not exactly a fast journey to Vancouver (in fact, the return trip was rather painful as it was getting really long and late…).
But I love the rustle and fun of taking a train in America. If I have a chance or a choice, I would love to go around United States in a car and a train. No plane rides 1
Anyway, this is not the first time I took Amtrak in America.. I love the previous Coast Starlight trip from California to Seattle, itself a magnificent experience.

Starting from Amtrak Station in Seattle, called Seattle King Street Station. At the time of writing, it is in renovation and hence things and photos looked a bit chaotic 🙂

You can purchase tickets online and then collect at the machines in the station. Sure beats the queue !
