Jiaying Triple Monitor Stand TS743. As previously written about the setting up of the triple monitors set up, I did not talked about the actual monitor stand itself.
It is a very good and cheap (at least compared to the amazingly expensive prices elsewhere for branded stuff) monitor stand. I regretted never took photos of the unboxing and also the quite-complicated and difficult (and heavy) fitting up process.
Where can you find this ? You canf find it from Jiaying in Singapore Sim Lim Square.
The model number is TS743 and was sold at SGD235 in Year 2011.
Anyway, still sharing some photos of the AFTER set up..
The base is solid. The 2 pieces of black wood were to push up the monitors to a more suitable eye level and were purchased from Ikea:
Just to re-cap, my set up is 3×24 monitor stands. At first, I had some issues with set up as my monitors were (initally) not the same. I started with a Dell 2408WFPb in the middle (as it is the heaviest) and a Dell U2412M on the left and then a Samsung 2443BW on the right. However, because the Samsung is heavier than the Dell U2412M, the stand was a bit slanted and I had to use some support told up the heavier side so that it will be straight.
Gave up to temptations after that, and swapped the Samsung 2443BW with a new U2412M. So now it is balanced. It is now perfectly balanced and works great. So do consider having all 3 (if possible) to be similar monitors. At least the left and right 🙂
