My unit came with Android 2.3.4 and firmware of 1.7B. As at writing, 1.8T has been released just these few days !

All the menus are in Chinese for my set but you can change it to English

  1. This seems like a very cool tablet. I need an Ipad replacement just for surfing the net as my 2-year old daughter has taken the ipad2 for herself.

    Are you able to view streaming video from your NAS?

    Have you done the upgrade yet?

  2. Yes you can stream video via NAS (I did this through ES File Explorer and then add my NAS as a server).. then can see all the videos, music etc on my NAS.

    If you are looking for an iPad replacement, my advice is still a galaxy 🙂 I loved it 🙂

    (upgrade to one of the firmware but not the ICS….. ever since I got the galaxy, this has became just a game machine ha ha)
