For my trip to Hong Kong, I also managed to finally try out the famous afternoon tea at The Peninsula Hong Kong.
This is like a very traditional ritual in Hong Kong where the rich and famous come and have this leisurely past time. Of course, the times have moved on but apparently this is still quite popular among the people. Even at 5 pm, there was still a queue to have the afternoon tea. We have to wait for an hour for our turn 🙂
The hotel lobby is where they serve the afternoon tea from 2pm to 7pm.
The famous 3 tier sandwich server tray. For a single price, you get this tray of sandwich and finger food as well as coffee/tea.
And this cucumber sandwich was supposed to have been the same for years and a must try sandwich.
