Hong Kong Peak and Bus 15 or Bus 15C

Lentor Mansion Preview Starts on 1st March

On this trip, I went up to the Peak during the day time (the last time I went up the Peak was at night).

From the Central ferry terminal, there is a bus, 15C (take note of the “C”) that brings you to the foot of the Peak where you then take the Peak Tram up to the top. For this trip, I took bus 15 to the top of the peak. It was a different method. This is a normal bus that brings you right to the TOP of the peak (as compared to bus 15C that brings you to the bottom where you can take a tram up). It is a much longer ride (it goes through Central, Wan Chai and then up to the top via a windy and giddy ride along the peak road…). The advantage is that you get to see the amazing expensive houses and condos in the peak. At some point, the bus is so close to the hill side that it is quite scary… so which way is better? Well, it is quite an experience to take the tram UP to the peak (especially at night) so maybe 15C is better. But 15 is great for a different approach (maybe during the day) and you can then take the tram DOWN.

Anyway, sharing some daylight shots of the peak from the Peak Tower.
